NAKAI GROUP'S MISSION: "Enriching Our Lives"
Nakai's technologies not only commit to the development of leading science, but also add ecological and people friendly functions to various equipment and tools we utilize in our daily lives. Nakai's technologies also enhance our goods and tools with beauty, convenience and comfort as well as safety.

HIGH-TECH PRODUCTS
Nakai's cutting-edge processing technologies are extending our possibilities for new products. Transparent electric-conductive film called ITO Film is a fine example. Nakai's spattering technology produces the film applying ITO by vacuum-deposition on the surface of a highly transparent and efficient material described as biaxal draw polyester film. The distinctive method bestows many superb characteristics on ITO film including nearly colorless high transparency, stable surface resistance or size, anti-environment durability, easy-etching and linearity and so on. Also, combining with coating technology, various types of films with hard coating applied on the reverse surface are available, which satisfy the new demands of this age. This optimum method produces scratch-free and consistent quality film that is employed in computers, electronic organizers and ATM machines also materials for display and input devices.

CREATING COMFORTABLE SPACE
Nakai Group's products are also employed on windowpanes of buildings and automobiles. To reinforce defects of glass and add new characteristics to it, we supply special films to paste on windows for safety and energy conservation. IRAB Film, one of Nakai's window films, has high penetrability in the visible spectrum and absorbs light within the infrared rays. Thus, by applying the film to the windowpanes of buildings or automobiles, infrared rays of sunlight are shut out and energy consumption needed for air conditioning is reduced. Also, the hard coated surface prevents flaws and defects.

INTERIOR
As a variation of hard coat processing, Nakai's transfer designing and processing technologies have created another type of transfer foil called Hard Coat Transfer Foil. Transferred on the overall surface of various plastic materials, this transparent foil does not alter plastic look while protecting the surfaces. It also has excellent anti-scratch, chemical and climate resistant qualities. Of course, 3-D processing is also possible. Currently, this film is widely used in many areas as furniture doors, sinks

AUTOMOBILE AND HOUSEHOLD ELECTRIC APPLIANCES
For automobile use, we are providing films for moire designs. The Nakai Moire Film is produced by applying our distinctive pre-treatment technique on special polyester or fluoride film prior to vacuum-metalizing of chrome or other metals using spattering methods. The properties of this moire film, such as high metallic luster, extra-strong adhesion, high-level of abrasive and environmental resistance, are extremely beneficial for us in TV sets, VCRs, refrigerators and other household electric appliances.

INDURSTRIAL MATERIALS
Nakai Group's vacuum-deposition technologies are applicable to various plastic materials and textiles to create diversely value-added products with anti-moisture, gas barrier, thermal insulating and other valuable properties. A cooler box is one example of a thermal application. Vacuum-deposition techniques also contribute to manufacture environment-friendly products, since this method can provide for lighter and smaller products.
